The sarape is a traditional Mexican garment. Its name comes from the Nahuatl language and means "blanket to cover". It was used by peons, horsemen and people from the villages as a coat or as a blanket for the cold nights in the mountains and the desert.
Handmade, these blankets are inspired by the Mexican serape and are characterized by their combination of colored stripes.
The use of acrylic materials makes it a very durable and thick blanket which isolates you from the cold or from the heat whereas spending time at the beach, the countryside or simply using it as an outdoor yoga mat.
